Rakin Uz Zaman is a young researcher who graduated from Bangladesh University of Professionals with both bachelor's and master's degrees in Economics. He was awarded the Economy of Tomorrow Fellowship in 2021 by Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung. During his internship, he participated actively in a UNICEF-funded assessment study of the covid's impact on the most marginalized children and adolescents. His research interests span international trade, environmental and tourism economics, as well as poverty and unemployment. He has a keen interest in data analytics. Rakin is now working on research to determine how Bangladesh's LDC graduation may affect the agriculture sector.
